Welcome to Datong, which I think is named after a company that is known for producing rice cookers. These machines are one of the best built devices in the world, and are to be passed down from generation to generation. They are a Taiwanese heirloom. When a daughter gets married, grandma's green Datong rice cooker will be gifted down. Its no wonder the company is going out of business. The product life cycle could last over 80 years.
This has to be one of the nosiest areas in Taipei. Its next to Taipei Bridge which sees something called a "Scooter Waterfall" twice a day. Thread the needle to hit this bank.
A little further down the way, one will find this gem waiting next to the people waiting for others who are waiting to be called upon to wait
