Cultural DIY

Keelung Homies held a demo, which was a lot of fun and hot as hell. This is a great picture to remember those I briefly met. That is the plaza they skate. It is totally DIY, it is just flatground. They usually bring in whatever they can to skate. This day they brought a launch ramp. 

This spot is only drained on occasion. It's usually filled with water. This evening we got a couple of turns on the tile (you don't want to fall because they will slice you).

                         This spot is recently RIP, due to all the shredding. It is legendary, and will always be remembered. Rest easy. There is a sense of calmness when rolling up to this spot. Definitely has an energy that is present there. They skated it so much, they pushed the concrete blocks out of kilter. Did I mention this is also where Animal Chin resides near Taichung. 

 The only spot in Taipei to get kicked out within seconds. Makes sense its a Chinese Bank, they don't have the same respect for our kind. Taiwanese guards hold a more modest approach.
