FTC was such an iconic spot for me back in the day. It represented all the cool EMB skaters who created modern day skating. Pretty awesome how there is one of those shops carrying the same ethos in Tokyo. Oh yeah, I'm in Tokyo for a week. Best city I've ever been too. So many people, but so organized. There is something to see on every street, and then some. This city is like an onion with many layers.
My brother and I worshipped Mike Carrol. We had a shrine of all his Thrasher pictures on our wall.

Stayed here from 3-8pm. The city stretches as far as you can see.
Shinjuku is known as a Yakuza controlled area. I didn't see any, just a bunch of dudes with hair gel standing out front of BBQ spots.
